4.Flexible Educational System

An outstanding curriculum is designed to lay the foundations for future Information Science professionals.

  • Short-term completion system

    Thesis examinations and graduation ceremonies are held at the end of each of the 4 quarters.Students may acquire the required credits in a shorter period by increasing the number of classes they take at once. Many students have completed the Master's Program in one year.

  • MEXT supportive projects

    The School has provided an innovative and intensive curriculum with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and its "Support Program for Improving Graduate School Education" and IT specialist program.

  • Information science introductory curriculum for students of diverse backgrounds

    The background knowledge of students studying in this university varies. About half of the students are from fields of science outside computer studies. It is possible for those students to work with specialized subjects after laying the foundations of computer science through our introductory curriculum.

  • Practical English Language Education

    In order to prepare students for presentations in international conferences and paper submissions, courses in English presentations and writing are given by teachers from abroad. A network based online English learning system is available, and TOEIC tests are carried out twice a year without fees to boost practical English language skills.

  • Digital library lecture archive

    Past lecture videos can be viewed through the digital library with referring to an index of subject窶冱 names, teachers and the timetable.
