IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS)はロボティクス分野の権威あるトップカンファレンスの一つであり、知能ロボット・インテリジェントシステムに関する科学技術のフロンティアを探求する大規模なフォーラムです。本賞は、計測自動制御学会(SICE)が、若手研究者の学問技術の研究を奨励し、その国際活動を支援することを目的とし、IROSに論文が採択された若手研究者を対象として贈賞するものです。2026年9月27日から10月1日にかけて、アメリカ（ピッツバーグ）にて開催されたIEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) において、Ngoc Huy Nguyenさんが発表した研究成果が評価され、今回の受賞となりました。
