AY 2018 Information Science and Engineering PBL I/II & Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems PBL I
このページでは, 以下の PBL 科目 (博士前期課程向け) の履修方法について説明します. This page describes the credit system and application procedure for the following project-based learning (PBL) courses offered to Master students:
- 5001 情報理工学 PBL I – Information Science and Engineering PBL I
- 5002 情報理工学 PBL II – Information Science and Engineering PBL II
- 5011 知能社会創成科学 PBL I – Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems PBL I
これら以外の PBL 科目 (5012 知能社会創成科学 PBL IIも含む) は,
内容・履修方法が異なります.

単位認定 Credits
下の一覧表にある「プロジェクト」を (ひとつまたは複数) 修了すると, 所定の PBL 科目の単位として認定されます.
履修が必要なプロジェクト数および単位認定の対象となる科目は, 各人が所属する教育プログラムによって異なります.
Depending on the education program they are enrolled in,
students may earn credits for PBL courses upon completion of one or more "projects" listed below.
The courses for which credits are granted differ across education programs.
The required number of projects to be completed also differs.
情報理工学プログラム Information Science and Engineering Program
情報理工学プログラムの学生は, 一覧表からプロジェクトを 2 単位分履修してください.
プロジェクトごとに相当する単位数が異なります (1 単位または 2 単位).
2 単位プロジェクトを一つ, もしくは 1 単位プロジェクトを二つ修了すると,
情報理工学 PBL I (5001), PBL II (5002) の単位を取得したものとみなされます.
複数プロジェクトを履修する場合, 組み合わせ方は (選択するプロジェクトから特別な指示がなければ) 自由です.
For students enrolled in the Information Science and Engineering Program,
completing either two one-credit projects or one two-credit project will earn them credits for
Information Science and Engineering PBL I (5001) and PBL II (5002).
When taking two one-credit projects,
students are free to choose any combination, unless otherwise specified by the projects.
知能社会創成科学プログラム Cyber-Physical Systems Program
知能社会創成科学プログラムの学生は,
一覧表から 1 単位プロジェクトあるいは 2 単位プロジェクトを一つ履修すると
5011 知能社会創成科学 PBL I の 1 単位として認められます.
2 単位プロジェクト, あるいは複数のプロジェクトを履修しても,
5012 知能社会創成科学 PBL II
の単位にはなりませんので注意してください.
(PBL II は, PBL I とは内容・単位認定の要件が異なります).
For students enrolled in the Cyber-Physical Systems Program,
completing a project (either one-credit or two-credit project) earns them a credit in
Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems PBL I (5011).
Notice that,
unlike Information Science and Engineering Program,
completing two or more projects (or a single two-credit project) does not count as a credit in
PBL II (5012),
which has different requirements from PBL I.
その他のプログラム Other Education Programs
情報理工学・知能社会創成科学以外の教育プログラムに所属する学生は, このページで説明するプロジェクトを履修することはできません.
Students in other education programs are not eligible.
プロジェクト Projects
以下のリンクをクリックすると, 今年度提案されているプロジェクトの一覧が見られます.
The following page lists the PBL projects available this academic year.
- 情報理工学プログラムの場合, プロジェクトID が A で始まるものは 1 単位相当, B で始まるものは 2 単位相当のプロジェクトです.
- 知能社会創成科学プログラムの場合, 得られる単位数に違いはありません (どのプロジェクトを修了しても得られるのは PBL I の 1 単位のみ).
- 新たなプロジェクトの提案があり次第, 上の一覧表に追加します. また, 学生向けメールでもアナウンスします．
- For students in Information Science and Engineering Program, projects with ID starting with "A" are 1-credit projects, whereas those starting with "B" are 2-credit projects.
- For Cyber-Physical Systems Program, there is no distinction in the number of credits awarded per project; students will be granted one credit in PBL I, regardless of the project.
- New projects will be added to the list as they become available. Students will also be notified by email.
登録方法 Application procedure
プロジェクトは一般に II-IV 期にスケジュールされています (例外的に, それ以前に開始されるプロジェクトもあります). 5 月中旬に履修希望調査メールを送付します.
- 希望者が受け入れ可能人数を越えたプロジェクトについては, 人数調整を行ないます (該当する学生には別途連絡します).
- 受け入れ可能人数に余裕がある場合には, 必要単位以上のプロジェクトに参加しても構いません. ただしその場合でも, 単位を規定数 (情報理工学 2 単位 (= PBL I, II 各 1) / 知能社会創成科学 1 単位 (= PBL I)) 以上取得することはできません.
- 原則として, 申し込み後の希望変更・履修辞退は認めません.
Most projects are scheduled in Quarters II–IV, except where noted. Students will be sent an application form and instructions by email in mid-May.
- Each project can accept only a fixed number of participants (the exact number differs with each project). If the capacity is exceeded, we shall coordinate the assignment.
- A student may participate in three or more projects as long as their capacity permits. Note however that credits will not be awarded for those extra projects.
- Once registered, students are not allowed to change or decline the registration, except in special circumstances.

プロジェクトの終了後, 2週間以内に報告書を担当教員に提出してください.

Submit a report to the project instructor within 2 weeks of concluding a project.
