8K 映像パブリックビューイングの実施について
A demonstration of 8K movie transmission.(2021/2/5)

　「さっぽろ雪まつり」時に毎年実施しております情報通信研究機構 (NICT) 主催の実証実験において、NAISTでも 8K 超高精細映像の IP 伝送実験を行っています。
今回、NAISTにて、以下の日時でパブリックビューイングを実施いたします。 映像は、御存知の通り今年の「さっぽろ雪まつり」が中止となったため、恒例の「雪像」のプロジェクションマッピングをご覧いただくことはできませんが、雪像のない大通公園付近の 8K ライブ中継や、さらに、沖縄 首里城（火災前/火災後）の 8K 録画映像などをお楽しみいただけます。 		ikoma
NAIST conducts a 8K-movie transmission experiment every year collaborated with NICT (National Institute of Information and Communications Technology) during the Sapporo Snow Festival. Although the festival has been cancelled this year unfortunately, we continue the experiment and demonstrate an IP transmission of 8K ultra- high definition live movies of a usual scenery of Sapporo Odori Park and also 8K videos from Okinawa including Shuri Castel recorded before/after its fire.
The public viewing at NAIST will be conducted according to the following schedule.

  • 沖縄 リゾート (カヌチャ) の 8K 録画映像 8K recorded video of Okinawa Resort (Kanucha)
  • 沖縄 原生林 の 8K 録画映像 8K recorded video of Okinawa primeval forest

*全ての映像は、札幌、石川 (NICT StarBED)、東京からのライブ映像で、NAISTで映像再生しているわけではありません。
　All videos are live from Sapporo, Ishikawa (NICT StarBED), and Tokyo, and are not the one played back by NAIST.
*実証実験のため、映像の乱れの可能性がありますがご了承ください。
　Since this is a demonstration experiment, there might be some image interference. Please enjoy the spectacular and fantastic movies.
