⼤規模システム管理研究室の学⽣らのグループが、JPHACKS 2020において、Finalist賞、富⼠ゼロックス賞を受賞しました。
Team LSM-NAIST of Large-Scale Systems Management lab received the finalist award and Fuji Xerox award at JPHACKS 2020. (2020/11/28)

　JPHACKS(ジャパンハックス) は、学⽣を対象にした⽇本最⼤規模のハックイベントで、 2014年より全国の複数都市で開催されています。今年は全国を6ブロックに分けオンラインで開催されました。 全国から80チームほどが Hacking Sprint と呼ばれるチーム開発期間に参加し、そのなかから16チームのファイナリストが Award Day と呼ばれる11⽉28⽇に開催された最終成果発表会への参加権を得ました。⼤規模システム管理研究室のチームである LSM-NAISTはHacking Sprint にてFinalist賞を受賞し、Award Day に出場しました。また、Award Day ではスポンサー賞として富⼠ゼロックス賞を受賞しました。 　 team lsm
　JPHACKS is one of the largest hack events in Japan for students. It has been held in multiple cities nationwide since 2014. This year it was held online in 6 blocks. About 80 teams from all over the country participated in a team development period called Hacking Sprint, and 16 teams of finalists qualified for participating in the final result presentation held on November 28, called Award Day. LSM-NAIST, a team of Large-scale systems management laboratory, won the Finalist Award at Hacking Sprint and participated in Award Day. In addition, on Award Day, they received the Fuji Xerox Award as a sponsor award.

    "Chained Box"
    　Chained Box はブロック・チェーンを⽤いたスマート IoT ボックスです。JPHACKS ではユースケースを野菜の無⼈販売所における⾃販機に絞りました。暗号通貨を⽤いた電⼦決済が可能です。Chained Box の⻑所は、既存の⾃販機に⽐べて⾮常に価格が安いことや、センサで⼈を検知して任意のテキストを読み上げる販促機能が備わっていることです。

    Chained Box is a smart IoT box using blockchain. At JPHACKS, we have narrowed down the Chained Box's use cases to a vending machine at honesty stands selling vegetables. Customers can pay for vegetables with electronic payment using crypto-currency. The advantages of Chained Box are that it is much cheaper than existing vending machines, and that it has a promotional function which detects people with sensors and reads out arbitrary text.

    　私たちの研究分野であるブロック・チェーンを社会実装する練習のために JPHAKCS に参加しました。審査において、Chained Box を「実際に商品として使⽤できる完成度」と評価していただけたことが嬉しかったです。また、富⼠ゼロックス様からは「これまでの⽣活や仕事を⼀変させるアイデア」、「⼈や組織同⼠がより良くコミュニケーションができるアイデア」、「ターゲットとなるお客様が120%喜ぶことがイメージできるアイデア」という観点で⾼く評価をしていただき，受賞に繋がりました。チームのメンバー、JPHACKS の運営に携わった⽅々、スポンサーの⽅々に感謝します。
    We participated in JPHAKCS to practice the social implementation of blockchain, which is our research field. I was so glad that the judges evaluated Chained Box as the level it can actually be used as a product. In addition, Fuji Xerox had three evaluation viewpoints "an idea that will changes the way people live and work", "an idea that enables people and organizations to communicate better", and "an idea that we can imagine the target customers will be 120% happy". Chained Box was highly evaluated from the viewpoints and led to the award. I would like to thank the team members, the operators of JPHACKS, and the sponsors.
