ネットワークシステム学研究室のDiego Javier Reinoso Chisaguano君がBest Paper Awardを受賞（2013/07/2）

IEICE, IEEK, ECTIが主催する国際会議ITC-CSCC2012において The 2012 Best Paper Awardに選出されました．2013年7月2日に韓国で表彰式が行われました．

    「Computational Cost Reduction of MIMO-OFDM with ESPAR Antenna Receiver using MMSE Sparse-SQRD detection」
    MIMO-OFDM is a wireless communication system very popular due to its high data rates. MIMO-OFDM using ESPAR antenna receiver can improve the communication’s performance but it requires a high computational cost for the detection. The MMSE Sparse-SQRD detection algorithm developed in our Laboratory exploits the sparse structure of the channel matrix and achieves a substantial reduction of the computational cost. Using this algorithm the computational cost required for the detection is comparable to the conventional MIMO-OFDM systems without ESPAR antenna.
