本システムの実用性を確かめるために,二種類のファントムを用いた 実験を行なった.その結果,ファントムが三次元画像として再現され, 任意の断面を指定することにより内部の構造も立体的に確認できた. 本システムは,超音波診断の実時間性と簡便性という特徴を取り入れた 三次元可視化を実現したことにより,術中における肝臓などの臓器内の 脈管や病変の診断への応用が期待できる.

This paper describes three dimensional imaging system, where a commercial ultrasound diagnostic device is used to obtain many B-mode images and a digitizer is used to obtain the coordinates of the ultrasonic probe. In this system,the B-mode images are projected on a virtual three-dimensional space using the axial position obtained by the digitizer, and an algorithm is proposed for 3D image reconstruction on real time.
To evaluate the ability of this system, two phantoms experiments were performed. The results indicates that the presented system has sufficient ability to reconstruct three-dimensional images of human organs.
