概要
Overview

アカデミックボランティアとは，地域貢献を通して，研究者・技術者としての社会的責任感を育成することを目的とした実習です． 互いに協力しながら各テーマに合う科学技術体験プログラムを立案・提供することによって，自身の専門性を高めるとともに実践的コミュニケーション能力の獲得を目指します．
The Academic Volunteer is a practice aiming to develop a sense of social responsibility as a researcher/engineer through educational service to local community schools/organizations. Students engaged in this practice are asked to design and offer a scientific experience program that matches each designated theme in cooperation with each other. By accomplishing the task, they will acquire practical communication skills and improve their own expertise.

単位認定の対象となる科目は，入学年度や教育プログラムによって異なります．
Credits awarded by this practice differ depending on year of enrollment and education programs as follows.

2022年度以降に入学した博士前期課程学生 (先端科学技術研究科)
Students enrolled in AY 2022 or later (Graduate School of Science and Technology)

2022年度以降に入学した博士前期課程の学生で「情報理工学」「データサイエンス」「デジタルグリーンイノベーション」の各教育プログラムを選択している学生は，本実習を修了することで アカデミックボランティア I (1023) ，または， アカデミックボランティア II (1024) のいずれか一方の単位を取得することができます （注：アカデミックボランティアI・IIのリンクは2022年度のシラバスへのものです。 2023年以降の詳細はUNIPAの関連ページを参照のこと）． 所属領域を問いません．
Master's course students enrolled in Graduate School of Science and Technology in AY 2022 or later with education programs of "Information Science and Engineering, "Data Science", "Digital Green-innovation" will be awarded a credit for either Academic Volunteer I (1023) or Academic Volunteer II (1024) by completing a theme in this practice (note that these links are directed to the syllabus of AY 2022. For the information after AY 2023, refer to the UNIPA).

2019年度から2021年度の間に入学した博士前期課程学生 (先端科学技術研究科)
Students enrolled in AY 2019-2021 (Graduate School of Science and Technology)

2019年度から2021年度の間に入学した博士前期課程の学生で「情報理工学」「情報生命科学」「知能社会創成科学」「データサイエンス」の各教育プログラムを選択している学生は，本実習を修了することで アカデミックボランティア I (1023) ，または， アカデミックボランティア II (1024) のいずれか一方の単位を取得することができます．
Master's course students enrolled in Graduate School of Science and Technology in AY 2019-2021 with education programs of "Information Science and Engineering," "Computational Biology," "Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems," and "Data Science" will be awarded a credit for either Academic Volunteer I (1023) or Academic Volunteer II (1024) by completing a theme in this practice.

中学生向け理科実習（またはプログラミング演習）の立案と実践．登美ヶ丘中学校の50~60人程度の希望者を対象に, グループとして理科実習を企画, 実施してもらいます.

内容／Mission
ナイスポ！ NAIST EXPO (高山サイエンスフェスティバル)（2024年11月開催予定）を訪れる小中学生に向けて体験プログラムとしてのデモ企画を現在募集中です(募集内容については広報部会からのアナウンスを参照してください). このプログラムの企画・準備を担当してもらいます. また, プログラム決定後, 当日の実施に参加・協力するスタッフとしても募集します. どちらかの形で参加した学生が履修することができます. 7月はじめに実施の内容が決まる予定なので, その際に体験プログラムの内容をまたアナウンスします.

We are currently looking for demonstration plans as an experiential program for elementary and junior high school students visiting NAIST EXPO (Takayama Science Festival) (scheduled to be held in November 2024) (please refer to the announcement from the Public Relations Department for details of the recruitment). You will be in charge of planning and preparing this program. In addition, once the program is decided, we will also be looking for staff to participate and cooperate in the implementation on the day. Students who participate in either form can enroll in the course. The details of the implementation will be decided in early July, and the details of the experiential program will be announced at that time.

参加報告書
Reports

プロジェクトの終了後，2週間以内に参加報告書を情報科学事務室に提出してください． なお，参加報告書には各テーマの指導教員の署名（または押印）が必要です． 参加報告書の内容は，下記のテンプレートを参考にしてください．
Every student engaged in this practice should submit a report to the Information Science Office within 2 weeks of concluding a project. Note that a signature of the project supervisor is required for the report. The temprate files for the report can be downloaded below.
