| 題目(Title) | Introduction to digital health for heart diseases: computational biomechanics, digital twin, and AI to help clinicians |
| 概要(Abstract) | Heart diseases are known to be one of the biggest healthcare burdens worldwide. In this talk, various approaches of digital health to help clinicians tackle heart diseaseswill be introduced . These include biomechanical computational models, digital twin and AI, all of which will be discussed based on our research projects at University College London in collaboration with hospitals of NHS UK. For example, we create digital twins of heart failure patients, with which we augment clinical measurement, screen high-risk patients from low-risk group, propose a more personalised treatment and conceptualise new medical devices. Should time permit, I will also touch upon challenges in interdisciplinary and international communications, between engineering and medicine, UK and Japan, and other countries/disciplines. |
