| 概要(Abstract) |
「眼は心の窓」と昔から言われる。最近では、瞳孔径や微小な眼球運 動（マイクロサッカード）といった不随意に生ずる変動に様々な「心」の状態が 反映されること、そしてその背後にある神経科学メカニズムが明らかになってき ている。われわれはこの無意識な眼の変動に着目し、主に視覚や聴覚に関連する 注意・認知の状態を読み取る技術の確立を目指した基礎的な研究を行ってきた。 この講演では、その取り組みとこれまでに得られた結果を紹介する。 It has long been said that "the eyes are the window to the soul". Recently, it has become clear, together with the underlying neural mechanisms, that involuntary fluctuations in pupil diameter and microsaccades reflect various states of the "mind". Focusing on these involuntary eye movements, we have been conducting basic research to establish techniques to read the attentional and cognitive states, mainly related to vision and audition. This talk will overview the project and some results obtained so far. |
