title: A study of a method for annotating in-home behavior using nudge-based questions
abstract: In order to collect behavior labels in the study of in-home behavior recognition, it is necessary to have residents record their own behavior in consideration of privacy and other factors. However, in order to collect detailed behavior labels, it is necessary for residents to record their activities in their daily lives, which imposes a heavy burden. In our research group, we propose a system that recognizes residents' behaviors in real time, and asks residents about their current behaviors using nudges only when their confidence level is low. In this paper, we describe the results of our experiments on the effectiveness of several nudges to increase the willingness of residents to answer questions.

title: Estimating Emotion and Satisfaction of Tourists During Sightseeing Considering Weather Conditions and Development of the Simple Data Collection System
abstract: Smart tourism, which is a tourism support system using digital technology, is becoming increasingly common, and a number of tourism support systems have been proposed. However, these systems do not reflect the emotion and satisfaction of tourists during sightseeing. It is assumed that the emotion and satisfaction of tourists depend on the individual's personality and hobbies and preferences, even when they visit the same sightseeing spot. It is also assumed that emotion and satisfaction are affected by the surrounding environment (i.e. weather) during sightseeing. Therefore, we believe that it is important to consider each individual's psychological state to develop more effective tourism support systems. In this study, we investigate a method for estimating emotion and satisfaction by collecting tourists' own gestures and weather information using digital devices during sightseeing. We report on a model of tourist emotion and satisfaction estimation that has been constructed using the data collected previously. We also report on a simple data collection system for estimating emotion and satisfaction based on the results of our previous data analysis.

title: Analysis of the Effects of Cognitive Stress on the Reliability of Participatory Sensing - Design of experiment and system implementation
abstract: In participatory sensing, which is a method of sensing and sharing information about the surrounding environment using the user's own device, the quality of the data relies on the attitudes of the users because they do not always give accurate and careful responses to participatory sensing tasks. We conducted an experiment in a laboratory environment to investigate the causes of the occurrence of careless responses in participatory sensing, not only the user's attitude toward the task, but also the cognitive stress conditions surrounding the user (e.g., time limits, ambient noise, walking). The results showed that the cognitive stresses of noise and walking significantly reduced the ratio of correct answers, whereas the cognitive stresses of walking and time limits increased and decreased the answering time, respectively. In this presentation, I will report on the design of experiment, experimental planning and system implementation for a demonstration experiment to investigate whether this trend can be confirmed in a real environment.
