title: Prediction of Body Constitutions through Life-Style and Health Guidance for Bias Recovery
abstract: As a candidate of complementary medical fields, traditional Chinese medical theory appears scientific and gentle effects on the diagnosis, prediction, and healthcare. In such a theory, the body constitutions (BCs) of individuals are widely considered as the most important indexes for diagnosis and treatment. This research aims at precisely categorizing individuals into specific BCs out of nine types from the evidence of physical indexes; predicting the BCs from the life-style; offering the health guidance on the life-styles for recovering the so-called “biased” BCs to the healthy status known as the “Gentle BC”.

title: Effects of different environmental factors (drinking water) on constitution of TCM
abstract: 【Aim】There are few studies on the relationship between drinking water and constitution of TCM, so we investigated the constitution of residents with different environmental factors (drinking water).【Objective & Method】330 residents over 20 years old in KUROBE City (experimental group) and 100 residents in other areas similar to their living environment (control group) was selected. Regarding whether or not to drink groundwater in KUROBE City in daily life, we compared the constitution distribution and its characteristics between the experimental group and the control group. the survey was conducted from October 2017 to March 2018, to three times. 【Result】The MoCA scores increased fourth weeks and twelfth weeks compared with before taking, and there was improvement in attention and memory. In TCM Constitution, there is a tendency to improve the quality of damp heat and blood stasis. 【Conclusion】Continuous use of Zingiber purpureum Extract has improved the constitution of TCM and Mild Cognitive Impairment.

title: Comprehensive Exploration of Target-specific Ligands Using a Graph Convolution Neural Network
abstract: Machine learning approaches are widely used to evaluate ligand activities of chemical compounds toward potential target proteins. Especially, exploration of highly selective ligands is important for the development of new drugs with higher safety. One difficulty in constructing well-performing model predicting such a ligand activity is the absence of data on true negative ligand-protein interactions. In other words, in many cases we can access to plenty of information on ligands that bind to specific protein, but less or almost no information showing that compounds don't bind to proteins of interest. In this research, we suggest an approach to comprehensively explore candidates for ligands specifically targeting toward proteins without using information on the true negative interaction through using graph convolution neural network (GCNN).
