title: Emotion sharing for the purpose of improving the motivation of dialogue for TV chat agents
abstract: When conversation opportunities decrease, physical function declines, lack of happiness, depression, and dementia. The solution by the dialogue agent is expected for this problem. However, the effect cannot be obtained unless the user’s willingness to continue dialogue can be maintained. In order to maintain the user’s willingness to continue dialogue, we have developed a TV chat agent. In order to develop a agent that watches and chat TV programs together with users, we propose a method for determining excitement in real time from SNS comments. The time series change of SNS comment is examined, the timing when the number of comments sharply increased is defined as excitement. We evaluated the results of applying the proposed method to TV contents such as soccer and movies.

title: Effects of Mirroring with Interactive Robot by Estimating of Gestures
abstract: This research implements a mirroring function to interactive robots in order to build rapport between human and robot. Mirroring is a technology that mimics unconscious behavior of conversation partner as if it were mirrored. We conducted experiments to investigate whether the robot could mimic human gesture and the mimicry robot's impression on human during conversation with the robot that applied the robot mirroring system. As a result, it was shown that the mirroring robot system was able to mimic a person. However, the influence of the mimicry robot was considered and the composition of the re-experiment was examined because it cannot correctly evaluate the impression given to a person.

title: Evaluation of Relationship between Arm Stroking Pace and Speech Rate for Muitimodal Interactive Robot
abstract: “Stroking” not only expresses emotion and affection, but also gives a sense of security and well-being to the stroked person, as well as reducing stress and pain, and suppressing dementia. For this reason, it is also incorporated into various care methods. However, it is difficult to give such care to all people due to various problem. So, there is an increasing demand for research aimed at developing a multimodal interactive robot that automatically performs these tasks. This study focuses on the combination of tactile sensation and hearing in multi-mordal interaction, and evaluates the relationship between stroking arm pace and speech rate. As a result of the experiment, there is a correlation between the two speeds. In addition, factors that were effective in improving comfort other than speed were considered.

title: Accurate 3D pose estimation in sprint scene
abstract: In sprint scene, 3D pose information is very important to analyze sprint in quantitive, but the method is limited, for example motion capture system. To get 3D pose information with not special environment, we propose to get 3D pose information with only one camera and personalized 3D model. By bringing CG image of 3D model closer to real image, we get 3D pose. As the result of simulation experiment, 2D matching is good, but some problem happened in 3D pose estimation. We explain these progress and the idea to solve.
