概要
Overview

アカデミックボランティアとは，地域貢献を通して，研究者・技術者としての社会的責任感を育成することを目的とした実習です． 互いに協力しながら各テーマに合う科学技術体験プログラムを立案・提供することによって，自身の専門性を高めるとともに実践的コミュニケーション能力の獲得を目指します．
The Academic Volunteer is a practice aiming to develop a sense of social responsibility as a researcher/engineer through educational service to local community schools/organizations. Students engaged in this practice are asked to design and offer a scientific experience program that matches each designated theme in cooperation with each other. By accomplishing the task, they will acquire practical communication skills and improve their own expertise.

単位認定
Credits

単位認定の対象となる科目は，入学年度や教育プログラムによって異なります．
Credits awarded by this practice differ depending on year of enrollment and education programs as follows.

平成31年度に入学した博士前期課程学生 (先端科学技術研究科)
Students enrolled in AY 2019 (Graduate School of Science and Technology)

平成31年度に入学した博士前期課程の学生で「情報理工学」「情報生命科学」「知能社会創成科学」「データサイエンス」の各教育プログラムを選択している学生は，本実習を修了することで アカデミックボランティア I (1023) ，または， アカデミックボランティア II (1024) のいずれか一方の単位を取得することができます．
Master's course students enrolled in Graduate School of Science and Technology in AY 2019 with education programs of "Information Science and Engineering," "Computational Biology," "Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems," and "Data Science" will be awarded a credit for either Academic Volunteer I (1023) or Academic Volunteer II (1024) by completing a theme in this practice.

平成30年度に入学した博士前期課程学生 (先端科学技術研究科)

情報理工学プログラム
Information Science and Engineering Program

情報理工学プログラムの学生は，本実習を修了することで 情報理工学PBL I (5001) ，または， 情報理工学PBL II (5002) のいずれか一方の単位を取得することができます．
Students enrolled in the Information Science and Engineering Program will be awarded a credit for either Information Science and Engineering PBL I (5001) or Information Science and Engineering PBL II (5002) by completing a theme in this practice.

情報生命科学プログラム
Computational Biology Program

情報生命科学プログラムの学生は，本実習を修了することで 情報生命科学PBL I (5003) ，または， 情報生命科学PBL II (5004) のいずれか一方の単位を取得することができます．
Students enrolled in the Computational Biology Program will be awarded a credit for either Computational Biology PBL I (5003) or Computational Biology PBL II (5004) by completing a theme in this practice.

知能社会創成科学プログラム
Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems Program

知能社会創成科学プログラムの学生は，本実習を修了することで 知能社会創成科学 PBL I (5011) の単位を取得することができます．
Students enrolled in the Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems Program will be awarded a credit for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems PBL I (5011) by completing a theme in this practice.

(注意) 本実習を修了しても，知能社会創成科学 PBL II (5012) の単位にはなりませんので注意してください（知能社会創成科学PBL IとIIは内容・単位認定の要件が異なります）．
(CAUTION) Please note that a credit for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems PBL II (5012) will NOT be awarded even by completing this practice. (The requirements for Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems PBL I and II are different.)

データサイエンスプログラム
Data Science Program

データサイエンスプログラムの学生は，本実習を修了することで プロジェクト実習 (4083) の単位を取得することができます．
Students enrolled in the Data Science Program Program will be awarded a credit for Project Practice (4083) by completing a theme in this practice.

(注意) プロジェクト実習 (4083)では，学外インターンシップ，またはアカデミックボランティアのどちらか一方のみ単位認定されることに注意して下さい．
(CAUTION) Please note that a credit for Project Practice (4083) will be assigned to either this Academic Volunteer or an internship program held at an external company/organization, but not to both.

平成29年度以前に入学した学生 (情報科学研究科)
Graduate School of Information Science (Students enrolled in AY 2017 or earlier.)

平成29年度以前に入学した情報研究科の学生は，本実習を修了することで旧課程の アカデミックボランティア実習I (110017) 、または、 アカデミックボランティア実習II (110018) の単位を取得することができます．
Students enrolled in Graduate School of Information Science in AY 2017 or earlier will be a credit for Academic Volunteer I (110017) or Academic Volunteer II (110018) in the former curriculum, by completing a theme in this practice.

Non native Japanese speakers should hold N1 or N2 level Japanese skill to communicate teachers at the elementary school with no accompany of NAIST faculty staff.

各回ごとに所定の出席表に主催者のサインをもらってきてください． 単位認定には6回以上のの出席が必要です．
Get a signature of the CoderDojo organizer to the attendance sheet every time you attend. A credit will be awarded after you attend six classes.

参加報告書
Reports

プロジェクトの終了後，2週間以内に参加報告書を情報科学事務室に提出してください． なお，参加報告書には各テーマの指導教員の署名（または押印）が必要です． 参加報告書の内容は，下記のテンプレートを参考にしてください．
Every student engaged in this practice should submit a report to the Information Science Office within 2 weeks of concluding a project. Note that a signature of the project supervisor is required for the report. The temprate files for the report can be downloaded below.
