title: Evaluation of Wireless Power Transmission using Parallel Line Feeder
abstract: In recent years, wireless power supply technology in order to deliver power to moving object has been focused. As one of them, the parallel line feeder system has been proposed. However, in case of parallel line feeder system, if the line is extended, there is a problem that the resistive component increases and the transmission efficiency decreases. In an attempt to deal with this problem, we propose the four parallel line feeder and evaluate its performances. By electromagnetic field simulation it is shown that, the transmission efficiency increases and the effective range of lateral misalignment do not change in the four parallel line.

title: Transmission of wireless waveforms using analog RoF for mobile fronthaul in radio shieded areas
abstract: Along with the increase in throughput of mobile communication, reduction of transmission capacity for optical line connecting between base station apparatuses is desired. In the conventional base station equipment, the analog radio wave waveform is digitally sampled and the optical transmission is performed. In this research, radio waves are transmitted as an analog signal by using a technique called RoF (Radio on Fiber) that converts a radio frequency signal into an optical signal as it is and transmits it. As a result, we aim to reduce the transmission capacity compared with the conventional method. We evaluated the influence of intermodulation distortion that occurs when multiple wireless signals are transmitted by analog RoF this time.

title: Semantic Role Labelling as Clustering Problem
abstract: Semantic Role Labelling is a task which classify words or phrases as term of predicate such as verb. Terms are important words or phrases for a predicate like 5W1H. But there is a problem that clasification labels specifying term meanings have different meaning according to predicates. So it is better to solve as clustering problem. I argue problem settings ,introduce a previous research and explain my research plan and progress.

On Importance of Unspervised Word Segmentation

abstract:
Unlike Indo-Europian Languages such as English, some Asian languages do not indicate its word boundary by space symbol. To take advantage of Natural Language Processing, these language must be segmentated into word-pieces. As preprocessing for NLP, we mostly segmentate Japanese sentences into words using morphological analyzer like MeCab. I however argue some problems of common Japanese morphological analyzer and how important unspervised word segmentation is with some results of pilot study.

title: Knowledge Conversion and Supplementation of Thought Process on Web Search
abstract: I proposes a tool for tracking a thought process in web searching because we considered that user¥½s browsing history potentially contains the transition information of a thought process of how to collect information efficiently. In fact, we have few opportunities to look back own browsing way. Even if we check the enormous browsing logs, it is hard to convert them into sharable knowledge. Therefore, our tool measure the dwell time, the amount of scrolling and page contents and transition between pages for evaluating the importance of each page. In addition, our tool provides an editing function to summarize a thought process based on the importance of each page.

title: Campus Life Logging System for Supporting Self-Improvement in Mental Health
abstract: Currently, many university students suffer from being sick or mentally ill due to the highly stressed environment. Many studies tackle to cure a mental disease, but not so many studies focus on preventing it. What makes students suffer? Or how can they maximize their productivity? In this study, we propose a ¡ÈCampus Life Logging System¡É that visualize and record student¡Çs own campus life, to look back their personal life for improving the mental state.

title: Interactive Signage System for Promoting Behavior Change
abstract: Nowadays, due to the spreading of health problems (e.g. lack of exercise), many tools and apps have been developed for helping people manage health condition. However, these applications just collect and report data to users instead of improving health. And only a few of users are willing to change their life style (e.g. go to gym) due to the cost of money and time. Therefore, we propose a system combining beacon and signage for provide information to users dynamically and promote behavior change so we can improve users' health condition without changing life style.

title: Continuous Learning Support based on Context-Aware Interruption
abstract: A review is an important process to keep remembering something such as English words and Math theorems. However, it is hard to make a time for review continuously. Therefore, we propose a system that supports continuous review. It asks a user about past-learned things at an appropriate timing via push notification. We call it as a Context-Aware Interruption. Our system prompts to use up a short free moment in our life for a quick review.

title: Classification of electroencephalogram at imaging a single tone
abstract: Humming is a useful way to note down melodies to a computer or mobile device instead of playing musical instruments. However, it is hard to use a humming in places where one can't make sounds. In this study, we propose a method that utilizes electroencephalogram measured by a simple mobile EEG to note down melodies anytime and anywhere. Our method enables users to note down melodies with hand-free and humming-free in various situations.

title: Kinematics Analysis of Sacroiliac Joint by Using Tilting MRI

abstract: Three-dimensional evaluation of musculoskeletal anatomy when standing is very important because many musculoskeletal disorders provoke symptoms under load. However, the evaluation has been performed by devising two-dimensional evaluation because it is difficult to perform such an evaluation. Therefore, we are attempting to construct a method to evaluate musculoskeletal dynamics of physiological and pathological motion by using tilting MRI, G-scan brio (Esaote Spa, Italy), that can get three-dimensional information. On the other hand, in recent years, sagittal plane alignment from the spine to the pelvis regulates postural changes caused by aging and is attracting attention as a factor that greatly affects QOL. First of all, among them, we focused on the movements of the sacroiliac joint and analyzed it.

title: [paper introduction]Long-Term Cohabitation with a Social Robot: A Case Study of the Influence of Human Attachment Patterns
abstract: This paper presents the methodology, setup and results of a study involving long-term cohabitation with a fully autonomous social robot. During the experiment, three people with different attachment styles (as defined by John Bowlby) spent ten days each with an EMYS type robot, which was installed in their own apartments. It was hypothesized that the attachment patterns represented by the test subjects influence the interaction. In order to provide engaging and non-schematic actions suitable for the experiment requirements, the existing robot control system was modified, which allowed EMYS to become an effective home assistant. Experiment data was gathered using the robot¡Çs state logging utility (during the cohabitation period) and indepth interviews (after the study). Based on the analyzed data, it was concluded that the satisfaction stemming from prolonged cohabitation and the assessment of robot¡Çs operation depend on the user¡Çs attachment style. Results lead to first robot¡Çs behavior personalization guidelines for different user¡Çs attachment patterns. The study confirmed readiness of a EMYS robot for satisfying, autonomous, and long-term cohabitation with users.

abstract: Recently, vehicles are equipped with information presentation devices such as Head Up Display systems(HUD). However, these systems include problems such as near focus, narrow projection area and so on. Research on a far focus display using a retroreflective materials has been conducted as a solution to the problem. In this presentation, I will introduce the paper on the influence of the far focus display system on the depth perception using the retroreflective screen.

title: Deep Dynamic Policy Programming for Robot Control with Raw Images
abstract: Deep reinforcement learning has drawn much attention in robot control since it enables agents to learn control policies from very high dimensional states such as raw images. On the other hand, its dependency upon the availability of a significant quantity of training samples and its fragility in learning makes it difficult to apply for real world robot tasks. To alleviate these issues we propose Deep Dynamic Policy Programming (DDPP), which combines the sample efficiency and smooth policy updates of dynamic policy programming with the contemporary deep reinforcement learning framework. The effectiveness of the proposed method is first demonstrated in a simulation of the robot arm control problem, with comparison to Deep Q-Networks. As validation on a real robot system, DDPP also successfully learned the flipping of a handkerchief with a NEXTAGE humanoid robot using a reduced number of learning samples, whereas Deep Q-Networks failed to learn the task.
