ŠT—v(Abstract)F Cyber attacks have evolved and reached a tipping point in terms of volume, velocity, variety, and financial burden. They have become a monumental security problem with malicious software (malware) quickly becoming a weapon of choice for attackers. In this talk I will explain how security data analytics impact the understanding of the nature and complexity of new and emerging cyber threats, and how big data analytics and internal and external intelligence allow for proactive identification of real threats and the development of intelligence-driven security solutions.
