| 題目(Title)： | Sparse modeling and optimal control |
| 概要(Abstract)： | Recently, sparsity has been playing a central role in signal and image processing, where a fundamental problem consists in reconstructing a signal from observed data. In many real cases, observed data may be under-sampled and disturbed by noise, and the inverse problem becomes ill-posed. To address this problem, a method called sparse modeling has been recently proposed. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to sparse modeling, and its applications to optimal control. |

| 講演者略歴(Biography)： | 愛媛県生まれ．2003年，京都大学大学院情報学研究科博士課程修了．博士（情報学）．京都大学助手，助教，講師を経て，2016年より北九州市立大学環境技術研究所教授．専門は自動制御と人工知能．2012年，IEEE制御システム部門より国際賞であるTransition to Practice Awardを受賞．同賞の受賞は日本人初である．そのほか，計測自動制御学会や電子情報通信学会の論文賞など，受賞多数．IEEEの上級会員 (Senior Member)．著書に「マルチエージェントシステムの制御」（コロナ社，共著）などがある． |
