title: Computer-aided liver diagnosis by integrating information of shape and hardness derived from MRI
abstract: Techniques currently used for definitive diagnosis of liver fibrosis are invasive and burden to the patient is high, thus non-invasive techniques are preferable. In our previous study, we reported a method that classify presence of liver fibrosis from information about the liver shape. The purpose of this study was to integrate information of shape and hardness obtained by magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) to aid diagnosis of liver fibrosis. In order to integrate the information of shape and hardness, we need to automatically segment the liver in MRI at MRE acquisitions. In MRI, non-uniformity of the intensity is unavoidable even in the same tissue due to its imaging principle. Therefore, conventional automated segmentation method in CT were less accurate in most cases. As a first step of my study, automated segmentation of the liver from MRI with the intensity correction is implemented and tested. language of the presentation: Japanese ȯɽÂêÌÜ: MRI¤Ë¤ª¤±¤ë´Î¡¤Î·Á¾õ¤È¹Å¤µ¾ðÊó¤òÅý¹ç¤·¤¿¿ÇÃǻٱç¤Ë´Ø¤¹¤ë¸¦µæ ȯɽ³µÍ×: ¸½ºß¡¤Î×¾²¤Ç´ÎÀþ°Ý²½¤È¸Æ¤Ð¤ì¤ë´Î¡¼À´µ¤Î³ÎÄê¿ÇÃǤËÍѤ¤¤é¤ì¤ëÊýË¡¤Ï¿¯½±Åª¤Ç¤¢¤ê´µ¼Ô¤Ø¤ÎÉéô¤¬Â礤¯¡¤È󿯽±¤Ê¼êË¡¤¬µá¤á¤é¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡¥²æ¡¹¤Î¥°¥ë¡¼¥×¤Ç¤Î°ÊÁ°¤Î¸¦µæ¤Ç¤Ï¡¤´Î¡¤Î·Á¾õ¾ðÊ󤫤é´ÎÀþ°Ý²½¤ÎÍ̵¤òʬÎह¤ë¼êË¡¤¬Êó¹ð¤µ¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡¥Ëܸ¦µæ¤Ç¤Ï¡¤´ÎÀþ°Ý²½¿ÇÃǤλٱç¤Î¤¿¤á¡¤·Á¾õ¾ðÊó¤ÈMR¥¨¥é¥¹¥È¥°¥é¥Õ¥£¡ÊMR elastography¡§MRE¡Ë¤«¤éÆÀ¤é¤ì¤ë´Î¡Îΰè¤Î¹Å¤µ¾ðÊó¤òÍ»¹ç¤¹¤ë¤³¤È¤òÌÜŪ¤È¤¹¤ë¡¥·Á¾õ¤È¹Å¤µ¤Î¾ðÊó¤òÅý¹ç¤¹¤ë¤¿¤á¡¤Á°Äó¾ò·ï¤È¤·¤ÆMRE»£±Æ»þ¤ËÆÀ¤é¤ì¤ëMRI¤«¤é¤Î´Î¡Îΰè¤Î¼«Æ°Ãê½Ð¤ò¹Ô¤¦É¬Íפ¬¤¢¤ë¡¥MRI¤Ï¡¤»£Áü¤Î¸¶Íý¾åƱ¤¸ÁÈ¿¥Æâ¤Ç¤âǻø¤à¤é¤¬È¯À¸¤¹¤ë¤¿¤á¡¤´û¸¤ÎCT¤Î¼«Æ°Ãê½ÐË¡¤ÏÀºÅÙ¤¬ÉÔ½½Ê¬¤Ë¤Ê¤ë¾ì¹ç¤¬Â¿¤¤¡¥¸¦µæ¤ÎÁ°¼Â¸³¤È¤·¤Æ¡¤MRI¤Îǻø¤à¤é¤òÊäÀµ¤·¤¿´Î¡¤ÎÎΰèÃê½ÐË¡¤ò¼ÂÁõ¤·¥Æ¥¹¥È¤·¤¿¡¥

title: Detection of outlier trajectories in evacuation guiding system using trajectories of mobile terminals.
abstract: In my laboratory, we are developing the evacuation guiding system using trajectory information (consisting of a sequence of the GPS locations) collected from evacuees¡Ç mobile terminals. This system estimates impassable roads from the difference between the evacuation route that mobile terminal has presented (recommended route) and the route that each evacuee has been actually through (movement trajectory). At this time, the estimation method does not work correctly if there are evacuees who do not move according to the recommended route. Then, I am considering estimation methods for automatically detecting trajectories that the system intends them not to pass through. In this presentation, I introduce the existing methods for detecting outlier trajectories and similar trajectories each other from many of trajectory information. Moreover I describe a prospect of how to apply the method to the system that we are developing. language of the presentation: Japanese ȯɽÂêÌÜ: üËö¤Î°ÜÆ°µ°À×¾ðÊó¤òÍѤ¤¤¿ÈòÆñͶƳ¥·¥¹¥Æ¥à¤Ë¤ª¤±¤ë°Û¾ïµ°Àפθ¡½Ð¼êË¡ ȯɽ³µÍ×: ¸½ºßȯɽ¼Ô¤Î¸¦µæ¼¼¤Ç¤Ï¡¢ºÒ³²È¯À¸»þ¤ËÈòÆñ¼Ô¤Î¥â¥Ð¥¤¥ëüËö¤«¤é¼ý½¸¤·¤¿°ÜÆ°µ°À×¾ðÊó¡ÊGPS°ÌÃ֥ǡ¼¥¿¤ÎÎó¡Ë¤òÍѤ¤¤ÆÈòÆñͶƳ¤ò¹Ô¤¦¥·¥¹¥Æ¥à¤Î³«È¯¤ò¿Ê¤á¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡£¤³¤Î¥·¥¹¥Æ¥à¤Ç¤Ï¡¢¥â¥Ð¥¤¥ëüËö¤¬Ä󼨤·¤¿ÈòÆñ·ÐÏ©¡Ê¿äÁ¦·ÐÏ©¡Ë¤È¼ÂºÝ¤ÎÈòÆñ¹ÔÆ°¡Ê°ÜÆ°µ°ÀסˤȤκ¹¤«¤éÄ̹ÔÉÔǽ¤Êƻϩ¤Î¿äÄê¤ò¹Ô¤¦¡£¤³¤Î¤È¤¡¢¿äÁ¦·ÐÏ©¤È°Û¤Ê¤ëÌÜŪÃϤؤȰÜÆ°¤¹¤ëÈòÆñ¼Ô¤¬Â¸ºß¤¹¤ë¤È¿äÄêÊý¼°¤¬Àµ¾ï¤ËÆ°ºî¤·¤Ê¤¯¤Ê¤ë¡£¸½ºß¡¢¤³¤Î¤è¤¦¤Ê¥·¥¹¥Æ¥à¤¬°Õ¿Þ¤·¤Ê¤¤µ°À×¾ðÊó¤ò¼«Æ°Åª¤Ë¸¡ÃΤ¹¤ë¤¿¤á¤Î¿äÄêÊý¼°¤Ë¤Ä¤¤¤Æ¸¡Æ¤¤ò¿Ê¤á¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡£ËÜȯɽ¤Ç¤Ï¡¢Â¿¤¯¤Îµ°À×¾ðÊ󤫤é¸ß¤¤¤ËÎà»÷¤·¤¿µ°ÀפäÊ¿¶Ñ¤«¤é³°¤ì¤¿µ°Àפò¸¡½Ð¤¹¤ë´û¸Êý¼°¤ò¾Ò²ð¤¹¤ë¤È¤È¤â¤Ë¡¢²æ¡¹¤ÎÁÛÄꤹ¤ë¥·¥¹¥Æ¥à¤Ø¤Î±þÍѤ˴ؤ¹¤ëŸ˾¤ò½Ò¤Ù¤ë

title: Multi-server queue with job service time depending on a background process
abstract: One of approaches to the reduction of power consumption for data centers is to power down part of servers according to the temperature inside a data center or the total amount of power consumption. In this research work, we consider a multi-server queueing system for distributed parallel processing over groups of servers, in each of which part of servers are turned off. We model the system as an M/G/c-like queue, where each job service time depends on the state of a background process when it starts. We derive the joint distribution of the number of jobs in system and the state of the background process. In numerical examples, we quantitatively investigate how the state-transition rate of the background process and the service rate affect the mean job response time. language of the presentation: Japanese

Title: Test Algorithm Generation for Neighborhood Pattern Sensitive
Fault in Memories
Abstract: Memories are the most dense components in large scale SoCs, accounting for more than 50 percent of the chip area. Therefore, testing of memories is essential to maintain a quality and reliability of the products. The Neighborhood Pattern Sensitive Fault (NPSF) is widely discussed fault model, and is becoming more and more important, with increasing density of the memory chips. However, test for NPSFs have been manually created and it does not always allow to obtain an optimal solution. We investigate a new approach that systematically generates a test for NPSFs. Title : Distraction-less Realtime Feedback Visualisation in Sports Training Abstract : In this research, we explore a new approach to feedback visualisation for self monitoring during sports training. Although providing post-workout statistical feedback about the performance of users still tends to be the common way, it lacks the ability to support them during the actual training. This deficiency causes users to have brief pauses and diverts their attention to something else other than the training itself. Our research aims to eliminate this drawback by providing enriched and personalised feedback in realtime.

title: Multi-band light transport analysis for estimation of sugar content distribution
abstract: The measurement technology of the sugar content based on the absorbance spectrum is used for selection and promotion of the fruit. However, it measures the total amount of the sugar in fruit, not a spatial distribution. Meanwhile, the scattering optical tomography has been studied, that estimates the internal structure from the scattering of the incoming light. The region of high sugar concentration would change the scattering of a specific band. The aim of this study is to estimate an internal sugar distribution using multi-band scattering tomography. language of the presentation: Japanese ȯɽÂêÌÜ: ÅüÅÙʬÉÛ¿äÄê¤Î¤¿¤á¤Î¿ÇÈŸ÷ÅÁÇŲòÀÏ µÛ¼ý¥¹¥Ú¥¯¥È¥ë¬Äê¤Ë¤è¤ë²Ì¼Â¤ÎÅüÅٷ׬¤Ï¼ÂÍѲ½¤µ¤ì¡¤Áª²Ì¤ª¤è¤ÓÈÎÂ¥¤ËÍøÍѤµ¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡¥¤·¤«¤·¡¤¸½ºß¤ÎÅüÅٷ׬¤Ï²Ì¼Â¤Ë´Þ¤Þ¤ì¤ëÅüʬ¤ÎÁíÎ̤Îɾ²Á¤¹¤ë¤â¤Î¤Ç¤¢¤ê¡¤ÅüÅ٤ζõ´ÖʬÉۤϷ׬¤Ç¤¤Ê¤¤¡¥°ìÊý¤Ç¡¤¸÷¤¬ÊªÂΤËÆþ¼Í¤·¤¿¤È¤¤Î»¶Í𤫤éÆâÉô¹½Â¤¤ò¿äÄꤹ¤ë¡¤»¶Íð¸÷¥È¥â¥°¥é¥Õ¥£¤¬¸¦µæ¤µ¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤ë¡¥ÅüÅÙ¤¬¹â¤¤Îΰè¤Ç¤Ï¡¤ÆÃÄê¤ÎÇÈŤθ÷¤ÎµÛ¼ýÆÃÀ¤¬°Û¤Ê¤ë¤¿¤á¡¤»¶Íð¤ÎÍͻҤ¬ÊѲ½¤¹¤ë¤È¹Í¤¨¤é¤ì¤ë¡¥Ëܸ¦µæ¤Ç¤Ï¡¤Â¿ÇÈŤËÂФ¹¤ë»¶Íð¸÷¥È¥â¥°¥é¥Õ¥£¤Ë¤è¤ê¡¤ÊªÂÎÆâÉô¤ÎÅüÅÙʬÉۤοäÄê¤òÌܻؤ¹¡¥
